About Jen

Jen started her tattoo career in 1995 while studying printmaking and illustration at the California College of Arts and Crafts in Oakland, California. Her unique style stems from her love of vintage imagery with influences that range from early 1900s ephemera and botanical engravings to pulp art and smut, multiple 20th-century fashion eras, and a solid foundation of traditional British and Americana tattooing that is made to last.

In 2008 after some years traveling around the country, Jen was invited to work at the legendary Ed Hardy’s Tattoo City in San Francisco and made it her home base while continuing to do guest spots and conventions throughout the US and Europe. During this time, Jen also sought out advanced training in both medical and cosmetic tattooing. She now uses this specialized skill set to help her clients reclaim and reconnect with their bodies through realistic 3D areola tattoos, areola restoration and enhancement, phalloplasty coloration, scar camouflage, and microneedling for scar therapy or hair growth. Her cosmetic work focuses on restoration and enhancement, providing her clients with a personal, refreshed, and balanced appearance.

With the closure of Tattoo City at the end of 2024, Jen moved to a quiet, appointment-only studio space closer to home in Berkeley. She also offers services at Sacred Rose Tattoo in Berkeley for those who have ADA needs or prefer a more lively environment.

Jen lives in the East Bay with her husband and their two dogs. In her spare time, she loves to cook, garden, paint, travel, and hunt for vintage treasures.
